Lanz Bulldog Crawler in Grand Parade at NHMA Rally Mudgee

My amazing wife Vanelle took some great video of me driving the Lanz in the Grand Parade at the NHMA Rally Mudgee. This parade was the first big drive since restoration completion and the Lanz did not miss a beat! Half way along the parade, the engine direction revered because I the throttle setting I had was too low. Thankfully I managed to get it back to the correct rotation before parade started to move again.

14th National Historical Machinery Association Rally Mudgee NSW 19th-20th April 2013

My John Deere model A on display with other John Deere tractors.

Last weekend Vanelle and I attended the 14th NHMA rally in Mudgee. We had the chance to catch up with some friends, who drove down from Bingara for the event, Ben and Brooke Marshall and their two children Angus and Lilly. After months of preparation to finish of my Lanz Bulldog Crawler for the rally, it was rewarding to see it on display along with my 1949 John Deere model A at the big event. The rally lived up to its expectation - there were plenty of tractors, trucks and different pieces of machinery on display. The event was very well organised by the hosting Cudgegong Valley Antique Machinery Club, with a great turn out by the general public. Below are photos of the John Deere tractors and some other interesting tractors at the event (photo descriptions at bottom of photos) Also stay tuned for some videos of my tractors and segments of the Grand Parade.
